In chemistry, a suspension is a heterogeneous mixture that contains solid particles sufficiently large for sedimentation. The particles may be visible to the naked eye, usually must be larger than 1 micrometer, and will eventually settle.

Suspension is the mixture of two or more compounds which contains quite solid particles which can't be dissoloved in mixture so that it settles down in the bottom and it can be removed out by sadimentation process.
     example: sand and water
