Sustainable economic development means development should take place without damaging the environment and development in the present should not compromise with the needs of the future generation. My question is that if we don't compromise the needs of the present them how will we save any resources for the future? (in the definition it is given "not compromise").

not compromise is given to show that only basic needs of present generation should be fulfilled . it said that there is enough for everyone's need but there is nothing for everyone's greed

so for sustainable development , basic or essential needs r fulfilled and resources are saved for future also
