Non-Absorbable sutures include :- Polypropylenesutures, Nylon (poylamide), Polyester, PVDF, silk and stainless steel sutures. Sutures can also be divided into two types on the basis of material structure i.e. monofilament sutures and multifilament or braidedsutures.
