suvidya borrowed a sum of 3000 rupees at 8 p.c.p.a.interest for a year from her bank to buy a computer of 2400 rupees over and above what had she borrowed

P = ₹3000

R = 8%p.a.

T = 1year

S.I. = P×R×T ÷ 100

= 3000×8×1 ÷ 100

= ₹240

= ₹240 A = P + SI

= ₹240 A = P + SI A = 3000 + 240

= ₹240 A = P + SI A = 3000 + 240A = ₹3240
