The Swachh Bharat Mission, launched by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, is an effort to make the entire country clean.
It was started on the birth anniversary of our Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi because Bapu’s dream was to make India a clean country.
Although Mahatma Gandhi made many efforts to make the country clean under various slogans and campaigns during his lifetime, he could not get support from the people at that time.
Therefore, to fulfil his dream and to make India clean, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on his 145th birth anniversary.
Under this, the government till India 2019 have decided to make India clean.
However, it will not be successful only by the efforts of the government employees, but for the success of this campaign, the citizens have to make continuous efforts.
This mission has received the support from big personalities of India from the beginning, who are making every effort to spread awareness about this campaign at their level.
