स्वच्छ भारत के माध्यम से विशेषकर ग्रामीण अँचल के लोगो के अंदर जागरूकता पैदा करना है कि वो शौचालयों का प्रयोग करें, खुले में न जाये। इससे तमाम बीमारियाँ भी फैलती है। जोकि किसी के लिए अच्छा नहीं है।

इस मिशन में सहयोग देने बड़ी-बड़ी हस्तियों ने हिस्सा लिया। इस मिशन का प्रचार-प्रसार का जिम्मा ग्यारह लोगों को दिया गया, जो कि निम्न हैं:–
