Answer:

Let the son's present age be x years. Then, swami's present age = (x + 25) years

=> (x + 25) + 2 = 2(x)

=> x + 27 = 2x

So, x-2x = -27

-x=-27

x=27

present age of son is 27

Given :

⬤ Swamy is 25 years older than his Son .

⬤ His age will be twice the age of his son after 2 years .

To Find :

⬤ Present Age of Son .

Solution :

Let :

  • Age of Son be = x
  • Age of Swamy be = x + 25

After 2 years :

  • Age of Son = x + 2
  • Age of Swamy = (x + 25) + 2

Now :

\sf{(x + 25)+2=2(x + 2)}

x + 27 = 2x + 4

x - 2x = 4 - 27

- 1x = - 23

x = 23

Therefore , The Value of x is 23 .

Hence ,

Age of Son = x

= 23

Age of Swamy = x + 25

= 23 + 25

= 48

Therefore , The Age of Son is 23 years and Age of Swamy is 48 years .
