Let the cost price of the cupboard for Swara be Rs x.

After 12% discount, the selling price would be Rs (100-12)% of CP

= 88% of Rs x

= Rs 0.88x

This is equal to Rs 13200

So, 0.88x = 13200

⇒x = 13200/0.88

x = Rs 15000

Let the price of the cupboard for PT be Rs y

After 15% discount, the selling price would be Rs (100-15)% of CP

= 85% of Rs y

= Rs 0.85y

This is equal to Rs 13200

So, 0.85y = 13200

⇒y = 13200/0.85

y = Rs 15529.41

Difference of Cost Price = Rs 15529.41 - Rs 15000

= Rs 529.41
