Given Equation is 2x - 3y = 7  ----- (1)

Given Equation is 5x + y = 9   ---- (2)


On Solving Equation (1) * 5, we get

= > 10x - 15y = 35   ----- (3)


On Solving Equation (2) * 2, we get

= > 10x + 2y = 18   ----- (4)



On solving (4) & (5), we get


= > 10x  - 15y = 35

= > 10x  + 2y = 18

      ---------------------

                -17y = 17

                    y = -1.




Substitute y = -1 in (3), we get

10x - 15y = 35

= > 10x - 15(-1) = 35

= > 10x = 35 - 15

= > 10x = 20

= > x = 2.



Therefore the value of x = 2 and y = -1.
