The role played by sweet tooth in tooth decay is simple. ... These bacteria break down the enamel of teeth and cause cavities. Toothpaste preventsfrom teeth cavities by protecting theteeth outer layer called enamel.Toothpastes which are rich in fluoride seem to be more beneficial againstcavities. I hope it helps u plzz mark me as brain list.

Sweet tooth leads to tooth decay. Which is caused by the action of Bacteria on food particles remaining in the mouth and acid is formed.

The pH of the mouth falls below 5.5 and the tooth enamel dissolves resulting in cavities.

Toothpastes are generally basic, they they neutralise the excess acid produced in the mouth and prevent tooth decay.
