50 children received 4 sweests

total number of sweets

50 \times 4 = 200

if it was distributed to 40 children then
each children would get

200 \div 40 = 5

so each of them will receive 5sweets.

No. of children= 50
hence no. of sweets in total=50×4=200 sweets
Now, Again total no. of sweets= 200
total no. of students= 40
Hence no. of sweets each will get= 200/40
Hence the answer is 5
