Given:

• Sweety runs around a square park of side =75 metre.

• Nikhil runs around a rectangular park of length =175m

•Breadth =125meter

To Find :

• Who covers Less distance =?

Solution :

In case of Sweety

 \\  \implies \sf \: side \: of \: square \: park = a = 75m \\  \\  \\  \implies \sf \: perimeter = 4a = 4 \times 75 \\  \\  \implies \boxed{\sf {\: perimeter = 300metre}}

•Distance covered by sweety=300m

In case of Bulbul,

 \bullet \bf \: length = l = 60m \\  \\  \bullet \bf \: breadth = b = 45m

 \implies \sf \: perimeter = 2(l + b) \\  \\  \implies \sf \: perimeter = 2(60 + 45) \\   \\  \implies \sf \: perimeter \:  = 2(105) \\  \\  \:  \implies \boxed{\sf{ perimeter = 210m}}

•Distance covered by bulbul is 210m

Therefore, Bulbul covers less distance.

Step-by-step explanation:

if didn't understand my handwriting I am writing in below

sweety \: runs \: around \: a \: square \: park \: of \: side = 75m \\ the \: perimeter = 4 \times sides \\  = 4 \times 75 \\  = 300m \:  \\  \\  \\ bulbul \: runs \: around \: rectangular \: park \: length = 175 \\ the \: breadth = 125 \\  = 2 \times  (l + b) \\  = 2 \times (175 +125) \\  = 2 \times 300 \\  = 600 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \\  \\  \\ so \: sweety \: covers \: less \: distance \:
