Copying means duplicating a data from one place to another. In copying you usually copy the same thing on another place.

example: While copying something in pen drives.

Moving means to move a data from one place to another. In moving you don't duplicate, you move the file/folder to another place.

example: you move your book from one place to another, you dont duplicate it.
