hello...❤️

Leishmaniasis is a disease caused by a parasite (genus Leishmania) transmitted to humans by the bite of a female phlebotomine sand fly.

Symptoms of leishmaniasis depend on the part of the body affected. Symptoms of cutaneous leishmaniasis include skin lesions (wet or dry ulcers) that are usually painless and localized. Symptoms of mucocutaneous leishmaniasis produce sores on mucosal surfaces, especially the nose, mouth, or throat. Symptoms of visceral leishmaniasis include lesions to internal organs (for example, spleen, liver, lymph nodes, or the bone marrow) that result in organ enlargement, fever, anemia, and low blood platelets (thrombocytopenia) and can be life threatening.

hope it helps...❤️
