The cartoon reveals that Syria does not have democracy. Blade crown — it's a winning message. This crown was the award for the winner in Greece. Here the Crown claims that "democracy" has emerged and seeks justice, but the authorities of the one party refuse to the people of Syria this right.

Yes, it would suit China and Mexico also where no opposition parties are allowed to contest election.

Explanation:

  • A nominee needs the consent of the Chinese Communist Party prior to contesting elections. Thus, no real democracy can be said to exist in China as people are not allowed to freely elect their representative.
  • In Mexico, there is a multi-party system in Mexico. Three main political parties,  operate at national level.  Yet all elections were won by the PRI until 2000.
  • The PRI has always won election by adopting dirty tricks. The cartoon will therefore be used in Mexico until 2000. However,  after 2000, the control and popularity ithe PRI dropped behind the other two national partes and PRI stood in 2006 at the third place. Mexico now has a government coalition
  • "Crown Leaves" means the chain of leaves, worn as a symbol of triumph on someone's head. The cartoon means that in certain nations across the globe democracy has succeeded, but is not accepted by all.
