Given :   Syrus is buying a tent with the dimensions shown below.

The volume inside the tent is 4.5  m³

 Syrus isn't sure if the tent will be tall enough for him to stand inside.

To Find : What is the height of the tent

Solution:

Volume of tent  = Area of Triangle * length of tent

Volume of tent  = 4.5  m³

length of tent  =  3 m

=> 4.5 = Area of Triangle *  3

=> Area of Triangle  = 1.5 m²

Area of Triangle   = (1/2) * base * height

base = 1.5 m

height =  h

Area of Triangle  = 1.5 m²

=> 1.5  = (1/2) * 1.5 * h

=> h = 2

height of the tent is 2 m
