Given : A system contains six  charges +1 µC, +2 µC, -3 µC, +4 µC and -5 µC  and +6 µC

To Find :  The total charge on the system

Solution:

system contains six  charges +1 µC, +2 µC, -3 µC, +4 µC and -5 µC  and +6 µC

net charge on the system will be summation of all charges

+ 1 µC + 2 µC - 3 µC + 4 µC  -  5 µC +6 µC

+13  µC - 8  µC

= 5 µC

The total charge on the system on the system is 5 µC
