t^2+1/t^2 how to become (t-1/t)^2

you know,
(a - b)² = a² + b² - 2ab

(a - b)² +2ab = a² + b²

now, use this concept here,

t² + 1/t² = ( t - 1/t)² + 2.t. 1/t
t² + 1/t² = (t - 1/t)² + 2
hence,
(t - 1/t)² = (t² + 1/t² ) -2
if value of ( t² + 1/t²) is given A then,
you can easily find out
(t - 1/t )² = A -2
