1. C6H12O6(s) ---> C6H12O6(aq) is an endothermic reaction. This means that there is a net flow of energy from the water in order to convert the solid form of glucose into the dissolved form. This energy is being used to pull molecules apart while in the solid phase and convert them into the dispersed molecules of the aqueous phase. 

2.When Iron and sulphur heated together, they react with each other to form Ferrous sulphide. During this reaction iron loses two electrons to sulphur.          Fe + S → FeS
