The clothes and houses are greatly influenced by climatic conditions in India.
Different regions have different climate and culture which influences their lifestyle.
Kashmir has houses with sloppy roofs because of snow and the clothing is thick to protect from harsh winters.
Rajasthan has mud houses and Sikkim has houses on the hills. They do rainwater harvesting and the clothes are warm.
Kerala has very hot climate so the clothes are lungi and sarees which are airy and comfortable.
