Let the speed of the train be x km/hr and that of the car be y km/hr.

Then \:  \frac{120}{x}  +  \frac{480}{y} = 8 => \frac{1}{x}  +  \frac{4}{y} = \frac{1}{15}.........(i) \\

And, \frac{200}{x} + \frac{400}{y} = \frac{25}{3} =  >   \frac{1}{x} + \frac{2}{y} = \frac{1}{24}  \\ ..........(ii)

Solving (i) and (ii), we get: x = 60 and y = 80.

Ratio of speeds = 60 : 80 = 3 : 4.

hey \:  \: mate \\ here \: is \: ur \: ans

Let the speed of the train be xkm/h

and the speed of a car be ykm/h

Then A.T.Q

120/x+480/y=8

1/x +4/y=1/15----------(1)

200/x + 400/y=25/3

1/x +2/y =1/24----------(2)

by solving it we get x=60

y=80

so ratio of speed be 60/80

=3:4______Ans

Hope it helps u dear...☺☺☺
