these harm the students slot as well as also benifit them. they get lot of stress, tension, impatience etc
it should be used for only news, education for only 1/2 hour

I think yes it is harmful because it distract students while studying.But I also helpful for us because if we watch education channel and news like National Geographic and discovery and history TV 18 and news like ABP we can get knowledge.But only for limited time.
