The land animals are generally called 'terrestrial' animals.
They live on land, entirely or predominantly.
Mainly there are types of this class as well, namely;
1.Saxicolous: These creatures are rock dwelling.
The word 'Saxicolous' is derrived from the Latin word 'Saxum' meaning a 'rock'. An example os it is Mox, a creature living or growing among rocks.
2.Arenicolous: Creatures that live in sand. They include sand dwellers mostly. Example-sand crabs, blood worms, beach hoppers etc
3.Troglofauna: predominantly live in caves. They include spiders, insects, myriapods and others. Some of them live permanently underground and cannot survive outside the cave environment.
4. Animals living in solid lands: You know them, Zebra, Bear, tiger, Rhiniceros, Racoon, lions, elephants, dogs, humans etc.
