HEY!!!

Structurally speaking the Renal Artery differ from the Renal Vein in the same as every other Artery does from every other vein(except the pulmonary pair). The Artery is more elastic with thicker walls do withstand the high pressure of blood coursing through it. The Vein do not need this due to the low pressure in them. On the other hand the Vein have semi lunar valves and a bigger lumen to help the blood go against gravity or prevent it from going backwards.

Chemically the Artery has oxygenated blood while the Vein carry deoxygenated one. The specific difference between the two is the amount of Urea, Bile pigments, Salts and H2O(water). Basically the Artery has more of them while the blood flowing in the Vein has gone through the kidneys and have no or almost no Urea and Bile pigments while lesser amount of H2O and Salts.
