Self pollination is when the flower's own reproductive parts pollinate it and thus it gets fertilized, i.e. both male and female reproductive parts are present.
Cross pollination happens when the gametes of a male flower are carried to a female flower, via pollinator ( such as birds and bees) and thus is gets fertilized.
