tabulate the difference in the characteristics of state of matter = rigidity; diffusion and shape
Answers
HEY BUDDY HERE IS UR ANSWER
--------------------------------------------------
there are totally three different states of matter they are SOLIDS LIQUIDS AND GASES.
- THESE THREE WILL HAVE DIFFERENT PROPERTIES WHICH ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS.
RIGIDITY:
=========
SOLIDS: solids are rigid and tight because of their intermolecular spaces between them
LIQUIDS: liquids are slightly rigid as they are in liquid in form. and their molecular arrangement is less.
GASES: gases are not rigid at all because their intermolecular spaces are very high.
DIFFUSION
==========
SOLIDS: solids donot diffuse properly because they dont have spaces between them,
LIQUIDS: lquids diffuse slightly more as compared to solids but less as compared to gases.
GASES: gases diffuse more than compared to solids and liquids because of their molecular arrangements they have a lot of intermolecular spaces between them which makes them to diffuse easily.
SHAPE
======
SOLIDS : solids have a definite shape
LIQUIDS: liquids donot have a definite shape but take a shape of the container
GASES: gases donot have their definite shape
EVERY PROPERTY OF THESE STATES OF MATTER COMES FROM THEIR MOLECULAR ARRANGEMENTS. HENCE WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THESE MOLECULAR ARRANGEMENTS HERE IT IS .................................
Solids :
Solids have definite shape and fixed volumes.
Liquids :
Liquids have no fixed shape but have a fixed volume.
Gases :
In the gaseous state, the particles move about randomly, at high speed and they have more space between particles.
