(Tahmid was trying to measure the density of a solid material but he didn’t have any equipment to measure the weight. Suddenly an idea hit him to design an experiment. He took two different pure liquids X & Y, and made a homogeneous mixture where X was of amount 60%. He dropped the solid material into the liquid mixture and saw that it completely sank below the water surface and then floated there (just below the surface). From here Tahmid calculated the density of that solid. If X & Y had a density of 2.5 g/mL and 3.5 g/mL respectively then what was the value of density of the solid calculated by Tahmid?)
