A-1) ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ ᴡᴏᴜʟᴅ ᴅᴇꜰɪɴɪᴛᴇʟy ʙᴇ ᴀ change in the temperature of the system as calcium oxide on dissolving in water releases a lot of heat. It is a highly exothermic reaction. Hence the temperature of the system will increase.

A-2) The chemical reaction that is taking place is combination reaction. A combination reaction is a reaction in which a single product is formed from two or more reactants.

A-3) The chemical equation for the reaction is

CaO + H2O → Ca(OH)2 + Heat
