1st Pair- Commutative property for subtraction if whole number taken as 5 & 7
5 – 7 = -2 and 7-5= 2 so in the both case of subtraction result is different so it is not a commutative.
2nd Pair - Let’s take two integers 6 & 3
6 – 3 = 3 and 3 – 6 = -3 so again in both case result is different.
3rd Pair- Let’s take two integers 20 & 5
20 – 5= 15 and 5 – 20 = -15 so again in this case result is different.
4th pair- 23 and 45
23 – 45 = -22 and 45 – 23 = 22 again result is different.
5th pair- 80 and 72
80 – 72= 8 and 72 – 80 = -8 again result is different.
Above example proved that subtraction doesn’t hold commutative property.
