Take a bowl of water containing some amount of oil in it. How will you separate

the two. ​

Answer:

Place some water and oil into a concave container, like a plastic bowl. The oil will rise to the top. Put the container in the freezer for a few hours and then take it out. The container will now have the oil on the bottom, underneath a slab of frozen water that you should be able to remove, thus separating the two.

your question is incomplete, please mention the type of oil you're talking about, though generally, oils like edible palm oil or petroleum has boiling point point way higher than that of water, thus by heating it, water would get evaporated as soon as temp reaches 101°c or 374°kelvin , where as oil would remain in our container since it's boiling point is relatively high, 300°c for palm oil and petroleum,

this is the basic method via which petroleum,propane, butane etc is separated from crude oil
