Take a cork, all pin, rubber, piece of wood. Take water, oil, milk, sugar solution in separate bowls. Place each object one by one on the surface of liquids taken in to the bowls and see whether the objects sink or floats in that liquid. Record your observations, compare the densities of the object and liquid.​

The reason here being is the difference in the densities of the floating material and the liquid. The lesser the density of the material than the liquid, the more easily it will float. The order of densities is all pin> rubber> piece of wood > cork.
