Answer:

since both of them are made up of different polymer , hence they both will have different time of drying and having a evaporation rate different from one another

Explanation: if the temperature outside is optimal like -35 to 38°C then the cotton cloth will take less time to dry up and the other nylon cloth will take more time so note them down and as per you requirements fill the up,

Hope this helps

Answer:

Nylon cloth took less time compared to cotton cloth for drying. Nylon cloth dries in <2 hours and cotton cloth takes at least 3 hours to dry under the sunlight.

Both were put in the sunlight at 1:00 PM to dry.

Observations -

  • Nylon cloth - It dried at 2:00 PM
  • Cotton cloth - It dried completely at 4:05 PM.

Explanation:

Nylon, a fully synthetic fiber, was the first artificial fiber made in the year 1931 with the use of coal, air, and water. Synthetic fibers dry quickly because they do not absorb water. However, other clothes such as wool and cotton take more time to dry because they absorb high amounts of water.
