Answer:

A well labeled diagram of human digestive system is attached with the answer.

Explanation:

Human digestive system is composed of multiple organs which work in unison to ensure digestion, absorption and excretion of the food we eat.

It starts with mouth where food is chewed and mixed with saliva and is broken down.

It is then passed on to stomach through esophagus.

The food is then churned in the stomach along with digestive enzymes secreted by gall bladder and pancreas.

Stomach contains hydrochloric acid which helps in breaking down the complex food molecules.

It is then passed on to small intestine where the nutrients are absorbed through the walls of small intestine.

The remaining food is passed onto large intestine where the absorption of water and salts takes place.

The excreta is then secreted through the end of the digestive system.
