then the ice cube receives more heat than the one which is left that the open in the air. Due to the reason that the ice cube which is
pressed at the bottom of the beaker receives more heat it melts first.
Ice cube in the second glass will melt faster because it presents more surface area to the water than cube in the first glass, Thus, the heat transfer occurs faster and ice melts easily.
