1.What do you think has happened to the salt?
2.Where does it disappear?

1) The salt has dissolved.

2)The salt doesn't disappear, but actually, dissolves.

3)There is not much difference in the vol. of water and because salt takes away moisture there is not much difference.

4)Water and salt being miscible with each other, makes it easier to dissolve salt particles.
