Gram seeds give us an opportunity to observe how seeds sprout into a sapling. Experiments A, B and C show different results, based on the growing condition.

In experiment A, the seeds grow at a good rate because of the moisture they absorb from the cotton which is wet.

The seeds in experiment B grow at a rate much faster than the one in experiment A, since they get a longer time to absorb water.

In experiment C, the seeds are killed on exposure to boiling water and do not sprout.
