Construction of a pair of parallel lines on a rectangular sheet of paper using the paper folding method :

Refer to the attached image.

• Take a rectangular sheet of paper.
• Put the paper on a plane.
• Now fold the paper once.
• Do another folding keeping the distance of each point of the new fold equal from the previous fold.
• In this way, we can draw a pair of parallel lines.

Note: We can do the second fold from the first fold side or from the other side.
