Take a spring | slinky
Hold one end
with your right hand and other end with your left hand. stretch the spring.
Now release
the spring. (a) State your observation. ​

The observations are as follows -

• Right after releasing the spring from both of the hands,the spring will jump from the hands and will obtain a random motion in random direction for very short amount of time.

• After the completion the movement, if we collect that spring,we will see that the previously stretched spring has restored it's previous original shape.

• All the above mentioned observation happens due to the elasticity of the spring.
