Aim of the experiment:

The aim of the experiment is to investigate the variation of time and length of the pendulum.

Hypothesis:

When we change the length of the string of pendulum the time will vary.

Material required:

String, object, pendulum, uniform desk, stopwatch

Observation:

We take a stone and tie it on the string. When we move the string of pendulum, we observe that if the length of the string is short, it take less time to reach the mean point and vice versa.

Conclusion:

So, it is concluded that time depends on the length of the string.

Hope it helped...

Aim: to explain the the variation of time period with length of the pendulum.

Hypothesis: When we change the length of the string time will vary

Materials required: Pebble, string and stopwatch

Procedure: Take a string and tie a pebble or stone to it than we let it go. Then we will observe and check if the time varies with the length of the string.

Observation: We take a string and tie a pebble/stone to it. If the length of the string is long then it will take more time to reach the mean point and if the length of the string if short than it will take less time to reach the mean point

Conclusion: Therefore the conclusion is the time period of the pendulum varies with the length of the string
