Take a torch take out the cells in it and try to obtain light? why?

It converts the chemical energy to electric energy.

the torch light needs some energy to glow.

If we keep the cell into torch light, the torch light receive the converted electrical energy and it flows.

you have the doubt that one cell is enough.

but the torch wants more electrical energy to glow.the two cells energy is sufficient to glow the torch light.

so two cells is needed for the torch light.
