Some people become infected but don’t develop any symptoms and don't feel unwell.
"Most people (about 80 per cent) recover from the disease without needing special treatment. Around 1 out of every 6 people who gets Covid-19 becomes seriously ill and develops difficulty breathing. Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like high blood pressure, heart problems or diabetes, are more likely to develop serious illness. A: "There is no need for any home remedies if you are at home. But if you are exposed to a suspected person then you can take hot water, tea, hot coffee," said Dr. Mishra.
Q: Are antibiotics effective in preventing and treating the new coronavirus?
A: "Yes, HCQ or Chloroquine and Azithromycine are useful. But don’t take it without doctors’ advice, because of its side effect," warned Dr. Mishra.
Q: Is there a link between a person’s immunity and Covid-19 transmission?
A: "Persons’ immunity is the most important factor to fight against coronavirus," answered Dr. Mishra.
Q: Should people avoid eating meat-based food to prevent transmission?
A: "There is no relationship between eating meat or any food," said Dr. Mishra in response to avoid eating meat-based food to prevent coronavirus transmission.
Q: Do vaccines against pneumonia protect you against the new coronavirus?
A: "Till now, there is no vaccine to protect against the coronavirus," answered Dr. Mishra.
