Take an iron nail, a piece of chalk and

so it's a practical experiment..here u go
an iron nail it is being not effected as the particals inside it are very tightly packed
on a piece of chalk it would get easy broken because of the loosely packed particals which can seen when it is broken on hands or on blackboard and finally on rubber bands it is much not effected due to it's high elastic power
