In the picture we see the walls of the city being defended by the Byzantine army,however they cannot keep the Ottoman army away. The Ottomans go over the wall and take over the city. We see them coming into the city by boat. The failure at Constantinople implied the "end of the Byzantine Empire" after a 1000 year reign.
