According to question

(x^3/3 - 5/2x^2 + 3/5x + 1/4) - (6x^2 - 4/5x^3 + 5/6 + 3/2x )

= x^3/3 - 5/2x^2 + 3/5x + 1/4 - 6x^2 + 4/5x^3 - 5/6 - 3/2x

= (1/3+4/5)x^3 - (5/2+6)x^2 + (3/5-3/2)x + (1/4-5/6)

= (5+12)/15x^3 - (5+12)/2x^2 + (6-15)/10x + (3-10)/12

= 17/15 x^3 - 17/2 x^2 - 9/10x +7/12
