1.If x=1
=>3 ×1 +5
=>3 + 5
=>8
2.If x=2
=>3 × 2 +5
=>6 + 5
=>11
3.If x=3
=>3 × 3 +5
=>9 + 5
=>14
So,If I will add the value of x according to counting then I will get the result which is 3 more than the previous sum.
=>3 ×1 +5
=>3 + 5
=>8
2.If x=2
=>3 × 2 +5
=>6 + 5

3.If x=3
