Take four squares of sides 3.5 4.5 5.5 and 6.5 respectively and verify if their length is directly proportional to perimeter and area

To check if length is directly proportional to to area or perimeter, we need to divide area and perimeter by length. if we get a constant, then it is directly proportional, otherwise not.

See the attachment. It is clear that perimeter is directly proportional to length with proportionality constant 4.
