Take some waterin wide mouthed bowl putan ironnail in it whatdid you observe put an empty iron tin in that bowl what do you observe how can the same material float and sink

density of iron can is less than water bcz it is hollow but iron nail has more density than water so it sinks.even material same density varies with size .density that u read in textbook is a density of one mole of that particular atom of element.
