Gandhi's educational policy was not something that was prior unheard of. But what was new was the educational policy which evolved after a series of organic interactions between the theoretical knowledge ranging from Rousseau to Dewey to Tagore and the practical knowledge envisaged in the pitiable condition of 'poor India'.
