Take two glasses/beakers filled with water. Put a drop of blue or red ink slowly and
carefully along the sides of the first beaker and honey in the same way in the
second beaker. Leave them undisturbed in your house or in a
corner in the class. Record your observations. What do you observe immediately after adding
the ink drop? What do you observe immediately after adding a
drop of honey? How many hours or days does it take for the
colour of ink to spread evenly throughout the water?

We observe that the ink dissolves in water faster than honey because honey is more denser than ink.. I think the ink should not take more than half an hour to dissolve in water completely..
Hope this helps u!!! :-)

Aim- to show that denser materials take more time to dissolve than the lighter ones.
Following observations are noted after seeing this activity--
1- In the first beaker which is added with ink, (which is less denser than honey) is evenly distributed in the water very quickly.
2- On the contrary, the honey in the second beaker because of it's density could not be spread evenly throughout the water.
So, this activity shows us that the objects/materials with high density take more time to dissolve than the lighter ones.
Hope it helps you..
