Answer:

Answer

x+3=0..(i)

x=−3

The graph of x=−3 will be a line passing through x=−3 parallel to Yaxis.

y−2=0 ..(ii)

y=2

The graph of y=2 will be a line passing through y=2 parallel to X axis.

2x+3y=12 …(iii)

3y=12−2x

y=(12−2x)/3

When x=0,y=(12−2×0)/3=12/3=4

When x=3,y=(12−2×3)/3=(12−6)/3=6/3=2

When x=6,y=(12−2×6)/3=(12−12)/3=0

x= 0 ,3 ,6

y= 4 ,2 ,0

Mark the above points on graph. Join them.

From the graph, it is clear that the vertices of the triangle formed by the lines are A(−3,2),B(−3,6) and C(3,2).
